Why does a dissolvable tablet taste so disgusting? Why advertise it's dissolvable at all? Why not just a regular tablet one swallows?

I have to take digestive enzymes to actually digest my food and due to health reasons. These work really well. Actually the best ones I've ever found.

I read some reviews/did some research before purchasing and found this brand to meet the criteria for what I wanted - variable dosing, micronized, from a reputable supplier (since supplements are not regulated, although I'm not sure what good that would do given the poor/inconsistent quality of regulated generic prescription meds). And affordable.WINNER!It works. Shooed away some of my brain fog. Helped revive libido. Improved energy levels. Improved overall sense of well-being.HISTORY AND EVIDENCE OF BENEFIT OF THIS PRODUCT:I'm already on HRT, using gel estrogen (massive improvement over pill form for me; brand works better than generic, but brand is $$$). Also using Intrarosa to keep things healthy in the southern regions. Am absolutely making the increased co-pay for that since it was a 1000% improvement over cream estrogen. It also has a DHEA type component. But while the HRT adjustments showed improvement, it wasn't quite enough. Still had too much brain fog for my liking, was still carrying the post-hysterectomy weight gain, and still just leggy.QUICK RESULTS WITH THIS DHEAIt only took a couple of days to see the improvement with ONE dose of this DHEA.Energy returned, clarity of thought, and reduction in PMS (awful issue of hysterectomy is that you still get PMS, which had gotten much worse in recent years).I can tell the days I miss taking my dose. It makes that big of a difference.IT *IS* A LARGE PILL TO TAKE SUBLINGUALBeing impatient, I snap mine into quarters and shove those under my tongue so I don't have to wait so long. Some days I just quarter it and take it with water, although SL route would work better. They could improve this aspect a bit, but it's not a deal-breaker. Not much of a taste to it.MORE DOESN'T ALWAYS EQUAL BETTERHave had a couple PMS days where I took two doses, one later in the day, and it did improve everything (energy, focus, not screaming at people using leaf blowers) but I also didn't sleep as well those nights.I had taken DHEA (n.

I started this hoping for more energy, less fatigue and brain fog, etc. After less than a week of only taking 2.5mg per day (I was breaking the tablet in half), I started getting severe pain in my lower abdomen. I have fibroids that have been documented through pelvic ultrasound and they are, apparently, quite large. I'm not sure why the DHEA aggravated them but the pain was so bad that I had trouble standing up straight sometimes. I also had a few other undesirable, though not as serious, side effects. I stopped taking the DHEA and the pain went away. I probably do need to have the fibroids removed but, until then, the DHEA did not work for me. I won't be trying something like this again without a doctor's guidance. Just be careful!

I ran out of my normal DHEA that I get from my hormone doc, purchased these and within 3 days of taking them, I feel AWFUL!!! My doc explained these companies do bot work directly with the FDA and have no standards as to what they put in these supplements. Kind of ridiculous you can’t get your money back if the meds don’t work. I’d stay clear of these and stick with supplements your certified doctor gives you. Nothing but a waste of money for me.
